I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. I want to express my gratitude for your dedication and contributions to our mission.
As we navigate the first half of 2024, I am pleased to share some significant developments at Fort Freedom. Recently, we faced our inaugural challenge with an Amber/Red alert involving a Veteran in acute distress. Thanks to our well-coordinated team and efficient protocols, we swiftly intervened, providing the essential support that led to a life being saved. This accomplishment is a testament to our collective mission and the impact of our continuous efforts. I'd like to extend special recognition to Zute Weick, Fort Freedom’s COO and Glenn Sime, Fort Freedom’s Program Director, for their exceptional work.
Last week was particularly eventful, highlighted by the launch of our Veteran speaker series, an initiative sparked by the creative synergy between our executive team and board members. This initiative made its debut in Philadelphia, featuring a Navy SEAL and attracting the support of corporate sponsors within the area. We are also grateful to Board Members, Kathy Clouse and Fr Joe for their invaluable assistance during this event.
Throughout the year, Fort Freedom spearheads various fundraising initiatives, with our grandest events traditionally occurring in May and on Veterans Day. This year, we're thrilled to announce a partnership with NFI Industries for our May event, promising an unforgettable experience that not only raises funds but also awareness for our cause. Additionally, in April, we're hosting an exclusive networking event in New York City, graciously facilitated by one of our esteemed board members, Arron Steinberg. These events are essential in supporting our mission and offer a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together. For those interested in joining us and making a difference, we invite you to connect with us for more information on attending these special occasions. Details on participation, tickets, and how you can contribute to our cause are available through our official website and social media channels. Join us in making these events a success and in furthering the support for our veterans at Fort Freedom.
The early part of this year has been wonderful for partnerships and in supporting our Veterans therefore aligning perfectly with our vision and mission. Again we are so grateful for each of you and encourage you to reach out at any time.

Jerry Haffey Jr.
