Kathy Clouse
Board of Directors
Kathleen Clouse was born and raised in California. She has been supporting military families and friends her entire life. Kathy’s father, brother and husband all served in the US Army. Her great Uncle landed on and survived Utah beach on D-Day. Currently, she has three nephews who are Army Rangers and a niece serving in the US Navy.
After getting a degree in education, she taught many grade levels at a Department of Defense school, while also leading the special education program. Drawing from her own experiences in a military family, Kathy was able to act as a liaisons for families struggling with the challenges of deployment. During this time she met her husband Mark, a helicopter pilot, stationed at Fort Irwin, California. Mark attended West Point and the Clouse family has remained involved with the academy ever since. Kathy has owned her own business, as well as, organized multiple class reunions, homecomings, and other fundraising events throughout the years.
Kathy and her family have moved many times together within the United States and abroad including Chicago, Singapore, China, Brazil and New Jersey.
Kathy is most proud of her full time job, raising her two sons. Both boys played college football; the eldest Spenser is currently working and living in NYC and Logan is a junior at Franklin and Marshall College.
Kathy and Mark currently live in Philadelphia. Over the past couple of years, Kathy fought cancer and now is fully healthy and ready to get back into her life's passions - family, photography, helping others and Fort Freedom.
