Richard Cohen, a partner at CHS since its inception, brings decades of experience in international business to the Fund.  He is most  known for his success in building Ermenegildo Zegna, an Italian menswear luxury fashion house, from $10M to $250M in annual revenue and launching their North American business.  After moving to the US and attending Harvard Business School, Richard became an executive of increasing importance and responsibility at several companies including After Six Tuxedos, Burberry North  America, Ferragamo, Saks Fifth Avenue, and as CEO of St. John, Robert Talbott, and Trinity Hong Kong.

While with St. John, Richard was responsible for a $500M business and was successful in delivering a $75M annual profit in his last year there.  He was also responsible for a $400M business with over 700 stores worldwide during his term with Trinity in Hong Kong and mainland China. Following his time with Trinity, Richard began his  responsibilities for purchasing and expanding brands with One World Star International (a global  conglomerate based in Shanghai) as their Chief Branding Officer.

 

After One Star, he transitioned to real estate on a full-time basis, leveraging his real estate experience as part of numerous retail brands.  Richard also gained experience as a Director and Assistant to Charles Cohen, a real estate entrepreneur.
